This Privacy Policy explains how the Fate mobile app ("Fate", "we", "us") handles information. Fate is designed to be private by default: it works fully offline, has no user accounts, and we operate no servers or databases of our own. We do not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, or location, and we do not build a profile of you.
Fate itself collects no personal information. Your game history and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. We have no backend, so there is nothing for us to see, store, or share.
The only data that leaves your device is handled by the following third-party providers, used to show ads and to process the optional one-time "Premium" purchase:
Before any ad is shown, Fate asks for the consent required in your region:
Fate is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). Before ads are enabled, Fate shows a neutral age prompt; users under the applicable age receive only non-personalized ads and are not tracked, consistent with COPPA and Google Play Families requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we hold no personal data about you on our own servers, there is no account or profile for us to access, export, or delete. For data handled by the providers above, you can exercise your rights (including under GDPR and CCPA) directly with them via the links above, and you can manage ad personalization through the consent and device controls described here.
App data (game history, settings) lives on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Data processed by the third parties above is retained according to their own policies.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected here.
